What a day!

Thanks for stopping by and taking a look at our daily lives. Everyday is a blessing and I am so thankful!

So today started like any other Friday. Started the day with the daily reading of the Bible, as a congregation we are ready the whole Bible in 2010. Then read our Esther Bible Study by Beth Moore for our Sunday School. Took our oldest to work and fixed breakfast when the other two got up this am.

Fixed Cowboy Breakfast Pie
Shredded Hashbrowns, Bacon, Eggs (Scrambled), and Cheese.
Place the shredded hashbrowns on the bottom of your baking pan, scramble eggs & pour on the hashbrowns. Take cooked bacon and layer on top of the eggs. Add cheese and bake on 375 for 20 minutes.
Quick, easy, & the kids love it.

Even though it is summer we still have a schedule. The kids make their beds and start their chores for the day. We are keeping up with their studies by doing 30 minutes in the morning and 30 minutes in the afternoon.

We had excitement after breakfast with a snake in the yard. And the day included more fun from there. I do believe that from today's experience that our home is going to be vacation central for the kids around the community. At least they have somewhere to go instead of getting into trouble.

Tomorrow is filled with more action since the youth group will be having a Car Wash to help pay for Youth Camp.

This week has been full of an array of emotions. It seems the closer to the end of school we get the busier we are. Awards day, getting ready for the end of the year dance recital, ordering class ring for my oldest. Reality sets in that these wonderful gifts from God grow up! Happy Monday! I do hope that you enjoyed your weekend with you family and friends. We had a great time! Pizza & movies vegging on Friday, bowling on Saturday, and attending God's house on Sunday. It was a great family weekend for us. Hubby left Sunday evening for his last week of work out of state. It will be great having him home nightly again. A time such as this

A couple years ago our Sunday School class did a study on Esther; one that all of us a women should study. Little did I know what the study would mean to me in the future. If you are unfamiliar with the story of Esther, I would highly recommend that you read it in the bible, follow it up with a study to help dig a little deeper. Even though God’s name is never mentioned in the book of Esther, His divine fingerprints are all over it. We see from Esther that there is no such thing as “coincidence,” and though God may seem distant or even absent at times in our lives, He is always present and working. Not unlike many of us, Esther wasn't an extraordinary woman. She was where she needed to be when she needed to be there, but that wasn't enough she also needed courage to do what she needed to do.
