Summer has begun...

Today was the last day of school. The kids are excited and to be honest so am I. This means time together working in the flower beds & garden, spending some fun time together enjoying the summer. We will have a busy summer filled with activities.

Church camp for the boys is right around the corner. They will be enjoying Student Life developing a closer relationship with our Savior. My prayer for them is to grow up Godly men that loves and serves the Lord with all their heart & soul.
While they are gone, I do believe a shopping trip sounds like a good idea. Have a little Mother~Daughter time together. My prayer for her is to be a woman that loves the Lord. This will make her a better mother, wife, & friend.

Then we have our community VBS! Before we know it June will be gone.

Joys & Sorrow

This week has been full of an array of emotions. It seems the closer to the end of school we get the busier we are. Awards day, getting ready for the end of the year dance recital, ordering class ring for my oldest. Reality sets in that these wonderful gifts from God grow up! We have to be ready & prepare them with the tools that will help them make the best decisions for their life. Giving them their foundation through the Bible. Monday was Art in the Park for out TAG program. My youngest son won second place in his division. So proud of him. It makes my heart smile to see his eyes light up. Happy Monday! I do hope that you enjoyed your weekend with you family and friends. We had a great time! Pizza & movies vegging on Friday, bowling on Saturday, and attending God's house on Sunday. It was a great family weekend for us. Hubby left Sunday evening for his last week of work out of state. It will be great having him home nightly again. They say that the heart grows fonder when there is a separation. This is true, but I also believe that respect for each other grows and admiration for each other; as well. A time such as this

A couple years ago our Sunday School class did a study on Esther; one that all of us a women should study. Little did I know what the study would mean to me in the future. If you are unfamiliar with the story of Esther, I would highly recommend that you read it in the bible, follow it up with a study to help dig a little deeper. Even though God’s name is never mentioned in the book of Esther, His divine fingerprints are all over it. We see from Esther that there is no such thing as “coincidence,” and though God may seem distant or even absent at times in our lives, He is always present and working.
